Senior Corporate Tax Manager, telecommunications networks.
Our client is a company leader in the telecommunication industry.
Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations (including both direct and indirect taxation);Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations (including IRES, IRAP, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.);Manage all the applicable tax incentives and the corresponding projects, such as R&D tax credit and incentives, Industry 4.0 and 5.0 incentives, Iper and Super Deduction, Energy Credit, Patent Box, etc.;Provide guidance and support to the accounting team on all tax-related matters;Ensure timely and accurate tax provision and financial reporting;Assist with tax planning and forecasting;Provide support in managing tax audits and other related inquiries from tax authorities;Monitor changes in tax legislation, identify and manage potential tax risks, ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and effective;Manage the implementation of a tax control framework fully aligned with OECD principles and with applicable tax laws and regulations;Advise on the tax implications of business decisions and perform tax due diligence to support mergers and acquisitions (if any);Act as internal tax advisor and point of contact for tax related inquiries and issues;Liaise with external tax advisors regularly to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations and ensure all the applicable tax returns and filings;Manage a team composed of approximately two/three tax managers/specialists.Qualifications:Master's degree in tax/accounting/finance/economics/law. Post graduate Master in Tax Law is preferred;At least 8 years in-house tax experience in structured corporate contexts (including both direct and indirect taxation management). Listed companies background is preferred;CTA or equivalent certification is preferred;Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written;Strong problem solving and analytical skills;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively cooperate with cross-functional teams and explain tax matters to non-tax people;Proficient in Microsoft Office tools;High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy;Lateral thinking;Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Growth opportunity in a national wide company.
