PURPOSE Supervised and coordinated a team of three to ensure the effective management of accounting activities for the Italian company, including its UK branch, with direct reporting to the CFO.
RESPONSIBILITIES Performing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.Supervising daily bank activities.Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including accountants, banks, auditors, consultants, the parent company, and other group entities.Recording and overseeing general ledger (GL) entries.Monitoring the asset and liability cycles, both in Italy and abroad.Accounting for company assets and depreciation.Monitoring customer ageing and managing debt collection reminders.Supervising supplier ageing, preparing payments, and managing the related authorization workflows.Handling tax and monthly compliance, including F24 tax forms, VAT settlements, Intrastat, Lipe, stamp duty, OSS declarations, and annual certifications.Recording monthly accruals, deferrals, and allocations.Preparing actual and forecast cash flows.Conducting intercompany reconciliations.Supporting monthly financial close.Assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements according to ITA GAAP.Managing projects with administrative and accounting implications.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS At least 4/5 years' experience in accounting.Experience in the Food & Beverage industry will be viewed positively.Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.Strong mastery of Excel and data analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience in SAP.Fluent in English both verbal and written.WHAT WE OFFER Work-life balance: remote work opportunities and flexible hours.Training and growth opportunities: we invest in your professional development.Inclusive environment: we embrace diversity and value inclusion.Corporate welfare programs.Discounts on ATM services.Free access to Fondazione Prada.Discounts on Group products.HEADQUARTER Milan, southern area, with the possibility of working 8 days a month remotely.
