The opportunity
We are looking for a talented Senior Consultant to join our Advisory – Credit Risk Team based in Milan, focused on projects related to Regulatory evolutions (e.g. Basel IV framework) and Credit risk management.
Your key responsibilities
As a Credit Risk Senior Consultant, you will support diverse client engagement teams to help our clients with a broad range of advisory services and provide meaningful insights across financial subject matters. • Understanding our clients' unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible
• Developing technical capabilities in a wide range of subjects including Basel IV framework, credit risk management, risk appetite and credit risk policies
• Assisting with business development activities including key go-to-market efforts (e.g., proposals, marketing materials) for related topics.
To qualify for the role you must have
• Master's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline; an MBA or master's is a plus
• More than 2 years of relevant experience in a credit risk domain (credit risk management, Basel regulations, risk appetite, ICAAP, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory framework (Basel – CRR)
• The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly assimilate to new information, regulatory requirements and industry leading practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
