WE LOOK FORWARD TO HAVING YOU IN OUR TEAM Senior Combat Designer JOB DESCRIPTION Nacon Studio Milan is seeking a Senior Combat Designer for our upcoming titles.
The Combat Designer will be required to work closely with the Design Leadership for the conceptualization and prototyping of combat gameplay (melee and shooting) of our heroes, villains, creatures and vehicles.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical understanding, a firm grasp on the fundamentals of animation and experience using state machines.

RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with Design Leadership to design, implement and polish compelling combat experiences; Iterate, polish and balance player combat; Work within an established creative guideline to implement character behaviour that fits the game's vision; Create compelling and balanced combat worthy of the top game; Create Design documentation with stats and rules of the Combat System for its implementation by the Team.
QUALIFICATIONS Strong passion for making and playing games; Previous experience in the video game industry as Combat Designer; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; Solid knowledge of scripting; Ability to iterate and implement quickly without sacrificing quality; Knowledge of the game production pipeline; Knowledge of Modern Combat techniques; Actively seeking feedback to improve work while also providing guidance and feedback to peers; Ability to adapt and cope with change as the production of the project demands; Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
NICE TO HAVE Knowledge of Unreal Engine; Familiarity with Perforce; An understanding of GSuite.
