We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), specializing in Security who is passionate about driving our customers' Security & AI transformation on the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Platforms. This is a customer-facing role, owning the technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft, helping customers to leverage their Microsoft investments through architecture, implementation, and operational health engagements.

The CSA Security role is responsible for driving customer satisfaction and value added adoption of Microsoft's Security Products and Services platforms, playing the Role of Security Trusted Advisor and collaborating with the Microsoft Account Teams responsible for the different industries customer portfolio.

The Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) Security is accountable for ensuring customers get value from Microsoft Security solutions, actively collaborating with the Microsoft Organization on the Services Delivery and Business Expand opportunities through the Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology (MCEM).

The CSA Security plays a central role in ensuring Microsoft 365 Defender Suite (XDR) adoption, Azure Security Consumption (i.e. MS Defender for Cloud Suite, MS Sentinel, Azure Network Security) and value added Delivery through Unified Contract Support consumption.

Responsibilities Customer CentricityDrive positive Customer Satisfaction & become a trusted advisor. Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners. Be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Global Security teams at Microsoft, Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap. Land an end-to-end value prop for Security (i.e., Zero Trust) which spans the breadth of Microsoft Security offerings, and with focus on Threat Protection, ID + Access Management and Cloud Security. Experience in the implementation (end to end) of Data Security projects with Data Security Platforms, preferably experience with Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Information Risk Management). Accelerate Customer OutcomesShare expertise, contribute to Intellectual Property creation & re-use to accelerate customer outcomes. Run Architectural Design Session to build a plan for implementing the solution – governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. Outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production. Collaborate and orchestrate with other CSAs and MS stakeholders including FastTrack, partner, and Microsoft Consulting in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform. Business ImpactPosition and deliver solutions that drive Security product usage and develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results & help Customers get value from their Microsoft investments. Identify resolutions to Customer blockers by leveraging SA subject matter expertise. Deliver according to MS best practices & using repeatable Intellectual Property. Accelerate Business Value of overall Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring that the solution exhibits "Secure by Design" framework, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment. Technical LeadershipLeverages market insights to assist leadership in defining global vision by identifying relevant areas in which to drive up-skilling. Role models effective technical readiness and influences team to drive their own technical readiness. Drives and engages others to adapt to changes aligned with solution areas/services priorities. Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues by educating them on technical and non-technical concepts and sharing best practices.Leads virtual teams around technologies and customer/partner challenges by sharing ideas, insights, and strategic, technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field, and the larger virtual team across Microsoft using knowledge of Microsoft architectures and their context in the competitive landscape. Organizes or presents at internal events (e.g., Ready, Build, Ignite).Demonstrates deep industry knowledge and drives recognition for Microsoft solutions through presentations and engagements with external audiences. Participates in external technical community events (e.g., conferences, seminars, technical meetups, Webcasts, blogs, hackathons) and shares learnings across internal teams. QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 10+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or Business Applications consulting.OR equivalent experience.Extensive experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).Extensive experience working on technical projects.Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).Threat protection, SIEM and Incident Response; Extended Detection and Response (XDR); Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR); Security Operation Center Management; Identity and Access Management; Cloud Infrastructure; Cloud Security; Data Security; Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Microsoft 365 Security Administrator, Microsoft Security Operations, Cloud Security, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, GSEC.Business Value: The ability to convey the business need and value of proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision makers. This includes the ability to persuade and inform based on facts and alignment with goals and strategy.Trusted Advisership: The ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders (e.g., technical decision makers, business decision makers) through an understanding of customer needs and technologies. Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.Situational fluency: Using self-awareness as a mechanism to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues to increase your ability to 'read the room'.
