This position requires strong negotiation skills, data analysis, and experience in supplier relationship management.
Within the Group Procurement structure, specifically in the Procurement team serving Operations' Internal Clients, this role encompasses the following activities:
Identify and evaluate suppliers for assigned categories. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality specifications. Oversee supplier selection and management in accordance with corporate governance, security, risk management and ESG principles. Manage Tenders/ RFPs and commercial negotiations for procuring goods and services, adhering to company policies and assigned budget constraints. Collaborate on defining Local and Global Category Strategies. Prioritize procurement through shared planning with internal stakeholders. Participate in cross-functional projects to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer service. Provide support during special projects such as Audits, M&A, operational efficiencies activities. Provide recommendations to management. Handle supplier contracts. Ensure supplier qualification. Support finance functions and internal clients in Procure-To-Pay administrative processes. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration or STEM subjects. Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or Procurement Specialist, preferably in ICT, or Financial Services related markets. Knowledge of negotiation techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across different business areas. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in supplier selection & qualification, tender/ RFP management, strategic sourcing, suppliers' portfolio management, contract management, suppliers' performance evaluation and supplier risk management. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills. Problem solving skills. Proficiency in English. Expertise in Microsoft Office - particularly Excel- and working experience with Procurement & ERP tools. Work Location & Travel:
