Then you can be our next… Senior Buyer IDMS & Lubricants You will be the responsible buyer on country level for purchasing activities related to Lubricants, Chemicals & Compound and Spare Parts (MRO) and will have the task to perform local purchasing according to defined strategy and frameworks. You will work in close contact with EMEA category lead and global category managers to support the deployment of strategies on country level, and with local stakeholders to identify initiatives to reduce TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), and improve efficiency and ensure sustainability.
Key Responsibilities Actively participate in global and regional strategic sourcing project, in the validation of the sourcing strategy implementation approach, and relevance of RFI/RFP.Deploy the projects on the country/factory to make effective planned results.Negotiate and sign local agreements according to EMEA category management and global strategy and implementation of new contracts.Define and take corrective actions to improve contracts compliance.Collect Issues from stakeholders and deal with suppliers to deliver solutions.Analyze SKF IDM&S Spend and markets trends to develop purchasing strategic initiatives to reduce TCO.Perform internal and external analysis, to define appropriate sourcing strategy and promote key projects to deliver TCO reduction.Develop negotiation strategy and lead supplier negotiations.Concerning "categories" you will participate in testing activities for Lubricants, Chemicals & Compound, working collaboratively with our stakeholders, bringing sustainable solutions within the context of the Circular Economy. You will also be able to introduce new solutions in the spare parts category, having as the main driver the reduction of energy consumption and the efficiency of the spare parts purchase channel.
What we are looking for: Degree in Engineering, Business Economics or Business Administration.Knowledge of Lubricants, Chemicals & Compound and in Purchasing for Manufacturing units.Proven strategic purchasing skills with a focus towards supplier management, contract management, relationship management and Negotiation Skills.Problem-solving attitude, data analysis attitude and result oriented mindset.Availability to travel.Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.SKF is committed to creating a diverse environment, and we firmly believe that a diverse workforce is essential for our continued success.
