Help us preserve classic cars' legacy with Roarington.
The new Classic Car Metaland. We are committed to promoting heritage and preservation of classic cars in a rapidly and fundamentally changing world. With Roarington we will make our contribution to the sustainable future of classic cars in the new digital age and promote these great vehicles to a younger generation in a metaland. You become a bridge builder between the real and the virtual life around Classic Cars, helping to bring digital twins alive in the metaland.
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help us operate and develop our platform, roarington.com, which contains the metaland served by pixel streaming from Unreal Engine. Currently, this platform is operated by an external company, and we want to insource its operation. You will be the first DevOps engineer at Roarington. Your responsibilities thus include managing the entire deployment and running of the platform as it is, evaluating and monitoring the technologies and services employed, and executing and deploying platform updates. You share your know-how with your colleagues at Roarington. However, since it's a running and stable system, we don't expect DevOps to consume more than 20% of your time. Instead, you should be able to spend most of your time as a backend engineer and help develop and extend the backend of the platform to support more user stories and provide more excitement for our visitors.
