Working in an Agile, Scrum international team you will be expected to contribute to top-quality Docebo LMS Products under tight deadlines.
As a Senior Developer, you will be resolving any critical issues, and developing projects using your front and back-end knowledge with an emphasis on the back end.Reports to: Software Development ManagerLocation: Hybrid Biassono or Milan, Remote Italy.Responsibilities:Develop Community features of the Learning Platform, using GoLang, OOP, GraphQL API and PostgreSQL.Drive the creation of Microservices architectures.Follow project development and manage practical activities and tasks related to the project's implementation.Contribute to our software architecture and optimize existing code.Work closely with the product owners to define feature specifications, and collaboratively refine a technical solution.Requirements:5+ years of web development experience in a similar position.Fluent in English.Enterprise-level projects experience.Track record of developing scalable web applications.Strong knowledge of handwritten GoLang and Object Oriented Patterns.In-depth experience with PostgreSQL and strong knowledge of optimization methods.Experience with automated testing, including TDD.Experience developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL API.Strong command of a Linux-based development environment.Experience with any version control systems.Understanding of web-related security issues.Ability to properly document your code in English and make it reusable to other teams.Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to guide technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to solve issues with clear methods while knowing when to take intuitive leaps.A deep understanding of cross-functional multiple-team-based software development.Strong attention to detail and astute diagnostic skills.Ability to drive own development within a product use case and with a focus on high quality.Nice to have:Experience in a Cloud or SaaS development environment.General knowledge of HTML5, SASS, React or any FE framework.Working understanding of industry-leading IT automation and cloud tooling, including but not limited to JIRA, Docker, Git/Stash, Test Automation (Selenium), AWS, Enterprise Level Applications, Services, and more.Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Benefits Perks:Generous Vacation Policy, plus 2 extra floating holidays to use for religious or cultural events that matter to you.Employee Share Purchase Plan.Career progression/internal mobility opportunities.Four employee resource groups to get involved with (the Docebo Women's Alliance, PRIDE, BIDOC, and Green Ambassadors).WeWork partnership and "Work from Anywhere" program.Hybrid Office Model:We believe when people are together, they develop deeper relationships and accelerate innovation.
