Candidates will work in a team of engineers to develop new products for the Cloud and Data Center Market.
This will involve close collaboration with some of the best circuit designers in the industry armed with the tools, knowledge, and technologies of the leader in power management.
The job requires a basic understanding of power electronics and laboratory skills.
Additional job responsibilities include writing circuit documentation and application notes as well as product promotion in front of customers and business development.More specifically, the candidate needs to contribute in the following areas:Product DevelopmentVerify the power solution through behavioral simulationsGuide design of evaluation boards for internal silicon verification and customer evaluationExperimental verification of products in development to identify problems and limitationsProduct SupportGeneration and validation of reference designs for system verification and customer applicationsDevelop design collaterals to assist customers with designs, such as datasheets, evaluation kit manuals, application notes, layout guidelines, and simulation modelsVerification and testing of evaluation kits, and generation of evaluation reports for customersSupport troubleshooting of difficult or unusual technical problemsEducation ExperienceMinimum BSEE + 4 years of experience; Preferred MSEE (or equivalent) + 2 years of experienceRequired QualificationsStrong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentalsStrong analytical skillsPower Electronics Knowledge – Operation and Control of DC-DC convertersUnderstanding of circuit simulation and/or software development tools and techniquesHands-on experience with lab equipment (i.e., oscilloscope, electronic load, DAQ)Experience debugging circuitsAbility to self-manage and meet deadlinesCan work both independently and with a cross-functional teamPreferred QualificationsClear and concise communication skillsDigital and software design skillsJob Req Type: ExperiencedRequired Travel: Yes, 10% of the timeShift Type: 1st Shift/Days #J-18808-Ljbffr
