Job Description You will be part of a very dynamic, highly motivated and fast-growing Analytics team in Italy and will develop analytical solutions to the benefit of our clients' and their customers.
The role holder must have significant experience (4-5 years at least) in the development of analytical projects in the field of credit risk management, anti-fraud modelling and or Marketing. Knowledge and experience of regulatory-driven analytics (AIRB, IFRS9 etc.) and/or experience in development of machine learning models (especially applied to credit and fraud risk management) will be a major plus.
Consultancy and Analytics Support and manage a team of analytical resources (Consultants Jr. Consultants, Analysts) in the development robust analytical solutions for different clients, primarily in the financial sector – this includes the development of statistical models and ad hoc data analysis Be responsible for understanding the project's requirements and for communicating them to more junior staff Ensure that project deliverables are accurate and meet project scope and objectives Question results through applied intelligence in a proactive way and interpret them into conclusions and recommendations to clients Present the project results to clients and/or to more senior members of Experian Pre-sales and Sales support Participate in pre-sales and sales meetings with clients and prospects to describe and position Experian's analytics projects and propositions and to adapt it to the specific client's needs Project Management Plan, organize and complete project work to meet team commitments within agreed timescales Qualifications The successful candidate will have: Strong personal motivation and commitment to results Degree in quantitative subjects (e.g. mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, physics) Strong technical and analytical skills Good experience in the design and implementation of credit risk models Strong knowledge of statistics and how statistical methodologies are employed in model development Good knowledge one or more of other major statistical packages (e.g. Python, SAS, WPS, SPSS, R) Established track record (at least four years) of delivering complex analytical projects Fluent in English – both written and spoken with working proficiency The following abilities and skills will be considered a further advantage: Previous experience in analytics on Big Data platforms (e.g. Cloudera, Databricks) and related programming frameworks (e.g. Apache Spark) Working experience of minimum capital regulation (i.e. Basel AIRB) and/or of accounting regulation like IFRS 9 and how it is applied to products and services like those provided by Experian Working experience in Marketing Analytics Additional Information Experian Careers - Creating a better tomorrow together
