Together with the founding and management team around Erik Podzuweit and Florian Prucker, they are working on a new generation of financial services.The position will be located in Milan with a working from home option.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of AML and Compliance topics for Italy as we further develop our international footprint.Responsible for the development of a local risk assessment, policies, and procedures.Monitor compliance.Report to the management body and external parties.Responsible for internal training and creating awareness.Liaise with internal teams to ensure implementation of Italian AML and Compliance requirements.Act as the internal and external contact person for Italian AML and Compliance topics.Minimum RequirementsCompleted a degree in law, economics, or a comparable subject.Several years of working experience in Banking/Fintech, Startups, or Consulting with international exposure.Deep knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory frameworks, including implementation of related policies, controls, and procedures; ideally held a similar position in another Fintech.Expertise to manage and mitigate risks related to money laundering and terrorist financing associated with the business model.Knowledge of MiFID II and Italian Financial Act (TUF) with respective application to Scalable's business model.Systematic, independent, and practice-oriented way of working.Fluent in Italian and English.What We OfferBe part of one of the fastest-growing and most visible Fintech startups in Europe, creating innovative services that have a substantial impact on the lives of our customers.Work with an international, diverse, inclusive, and ever-growing team that loves creating the best products for our clients.Be productive with the latest hardware and tools.Learn and grow by joining our in-house knowledge sharing sessions and spending your individual Education Budget.
