Above all Ferrari is an international team working with the highest level of professionalism and dedication, based on performance, meritocracy and continuous development, with innovation at the heart of our future.In order to strengthen our AI Team, we are looking to hire a Senior AI Modelling Engineer, based in Maranello (Italy).In this position, you will be responsible for developing data-driven models for the engineering office, leveraging data collected from test rigs and from simulations.The main responsibilities will be:Collaborate with teams in the engineering office to understand the technical problem at hand.Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex technical problems with minimal supervision.Conduct data analysis and preprocessing to improve data understanding and model performance.Propose solutions to optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into existing applications.Research the latest machine learning advancements, through research papers, open-source repositories and quick experimentation.Proactively participate in discussions on technical problem-solving sessions.Support junior members of the team.In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics or Data Science and you will have gained at least 5 years of dedicated experience within the AI Department.
A strong background and understanding of Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Optimization are mandatory to manage the activities.
Experience with Python programming, libraries such as Pandas, Plotly and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch are required.In Ferrari, you must exhibit the capability to think analytically, target-oriented and structured.
You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning).
You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team.
