Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire a Senior Accountant , located in our Italian plant in Colognola ai Colli (VR) .
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
Prepare local financial statements according to schedule
Ensure tax compliance in all respects according to local legislation
Preparation of income tax return, VAT declarations and any other tax related regulatory reports.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc.
Requirements
BSc/Ba or college degree in Accounting
Proven relevant experience of min. 6 years at an industrial or trading company
Knowledge of Tax and Payroll issues (although processed externally)
SAP Knowledge is a must
Good command of English (oral and written)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Very good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices (Local GAAP & IFRS)
Excellent organizing abilities & problem solving skills
