Key activities and responsibilities of this role includes: Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivableReview and recommend modifications to accounting systems and proceduresPrepare local financial statements according to scheduleEnsure tax compliance in all respects according to local legislationPreparation of income tax return, VAT declarations and any other tax related regulatory reports.Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recordedUpdate accounts payable and perform reconciliationsReviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. BSc/Ba or college degree in AccountingProven relevant experience of min, 6 years at an industrial or trading companyKnowledge of Tax and Payroll issues (although processed externally)SAP Knowledge is a mustGood command of English (oral and written)Excellent knowledge of MS OfficeVery good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices (Local GAAP & IFRS)Excellent organizing abilities & problem solving skillsDespite your experience and skills, you never stop learning, cultivating an out-of-the-box thinking, a growth and entrepreneurial mindset, embracing ownership and agility.
