Senior Accountant

Scope This role will be responsible for the accounting operations in all day-to-day activities and assist the Financial Manager.
Responsibilities Day-to-day accounting activities General administrative tasks: contact with banks, customers, suppliers, and all departments to maintain good cooperation and to interact on possible future problems.
Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts.
Reconcile bank statements, intercompany statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
Assist the Financial Manager with month, quarter, and year-end closing.
Monitor and plan cash flow requirements.
Control AR/AP/General Ledger.
Generate a variety of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage preparation of all financial reports and balance sheets.
Prepare the budget.
Analyze the budget versus actual results.
Optimize processes.
Maintain contact with auditors, tax specialists, banks, and other finance-related parties.
Prepare VAT declarations.
Assist the Financial Manager in day-to-day operations.
Replace the Financial Manager in case of absence.
Ensure all matters are consistent with Global and company policies and laws.
Qualifications / Experience: Higher Education in Accounting/Economics/Professional qualification.
More than 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.
Knowledge of different accounting software (Microsoft AX would be a benefit, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent Excel skills.
