Our core values begin at the very top and span the broad reach of our global community.We offer dynamic careers for those individuals looking to be a part of something bigger and provide unequivocal opportunities for growth within the organization.PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail consumer, life sciences pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle industrial verticals.ScopeThis role will be responsible for the accounting operations in all day-to-day activities and assist the Financial Manager.ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day accounting activitiesGeneral administrative tasks: contact with banks, customers, suppliers, and all departments to maintain good cooperation and interact on possible future problems.Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts.Reconcile bank statements, intercompany statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.Assist the financial manager with month, quarter, and year-end closing.Monitor and plan cash flow requirements.Control AR / AP / General Ledger.Generate a variety of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Manage the preparation of all financial reports balance sheets.Prepare the budget.Analyze the budget versus actual results.Process optimization.Maintain contact with auditors, tax specialists, banks, and other finance-related parties.Prepare VAT declaration.Assist the financial manager in day-to-day operations.Replace the financial manager in case of absence.Ensure all matters are consistent with Global company policies and laws.Key Competencies / SkillsGeneric StandardsThinking criticallyAbility to deal with complex subjects across multiple geographies and culturesGood communication skills: both oral and writtenComputer literacyStress resistantDimensions / KPI'sTimely invoicing to customersAccuracy of documents across the departmentSystems effectivenessOn-time reporting effectivenessDocumentation turnover effectivenessComplete and publish average reporting (to HQ) within the planned time-frame.Qualifications / ExperienceHigher Education; Accounting / Economics / Professional qualificationMore than 5 years experience as a Senior Accountant or Finance ManagerKnowledge of different accounting software (Microsoft AX would be a benefit, SAP, Oracle)Knowledge of business languages: Fluent in Italian and English, excellent Excel skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
