We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Specialist for the Italian manufacturing subsidiary, responsible for general accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Coordinates with other company functions and supports process improvement projects.
Responsibilities - Manage general accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Handle administrative and financial tasks for the company and its subsidiaries
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, monthly quarterly and annual financial closures
- Coordinate periodic closing activities with other finance and business functions
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal audit
- Participate in projects to improve accounting processes and IT solutions
Requirements - Degree in Economics or related fields
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in structured companies
- Knowledge of English and Italian
- Local GAAPs and IFRS GAPPs knowledge
- Attention to detail, strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in teams with colleagues and other departments
- Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO modules is a plus)
- Additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) may be required.
- Also, and on an exceptional basis, the role may require work on public holidays
- Good knowledge of Excel is needed
