On behalf of our Client a well-established expanding Audit firm, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team in Nicosia. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Nicosia based Senior Accountant role.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain books and records and manage a portfolio of clients (both local but mainly international business)
Good Knowledge and Understanding of the VAT legislation
Deal with complex accounting transactions and advise on recording of records
Liaise with the auditors and ensure of the accuracy of the accounting information to be handed over
Review/oversee portfolio of accounting clients (depending on level of experience)
Train and coach new Trainee Employees
Preparation of the audit file and Financial Statements (Caseware) for sending to the Auditors
CANDIDATE PROFILEBachelor's in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Business Management or another related field.
ACCA/ACA Qualified or Part Qualified will be considered added advantage
Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in client Accounting is essential
Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
