Job Title: Senior Accountant Education: Bachelor's Degree Location: Experienced (Non-Manager) Category: Finance Job Type: Permanent Job Description Scope: This role will be responsible for the accounting operations in all day-to-day activities and assist the Financial Manager.
Responsibilities: Day-to-day accounting activitiesGeneral administrative tasks: contact with bank, customers, suppliers, and all departments to maintain good cooperation and to interact on possible future problems.Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts.Reconcile bank statements, intercompany statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.Assisting the financial manager with month, quarter, and year-end closing.Monitoring and planning cash flow requirements.Generate a variety of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Managing preparation of all financial reports and balance sheets.Preparation of the budget.Analysis of the budget versus actual results.Process optimization.Maintaining contact with auditors, tax specialists, banks, and other finance-related parties.Assisting the financial manager in day-to-day operations.Replacing the financial manager in case of absence.Ensure all matters are consistent with global and company policies and laws.Job Requirements Qualifications / Experience: Higher education in Accounting, Economics, or a professional qualification.More than 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.Knowledge of different accounting software (Microsoft AX would be a benefit, SAP, Oracle, etc.).Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent Excel skills.
