About the Position:
Incumbent carries out the contract surveillance plan by inspecting and reporting on the operating contractor's physical security operations, personnel security operations, operations security program, anti-terrorism/force protection program, and law enforcement support programs. Monitors visitor control, employee badging processes, and access control. Reviews contractor's records and classified facilities, prepares reports, and presents them to the Security Officer for review.

Specialized Experience: applying in-depth knowledge of a wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to plan, direct, and control the security program, conducting comprehensive review and analysis of (1) Information Security; (2) Personnel Security; (3) Operations Security; (4) Physical Security; and (5) Assisting Force Protection/Antiterrorism Threat Data collection and analysis. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts).
OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts).
