Make an Impact by: Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN solutions to meet business requirements and improve network performance. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess network needs, and develop SD-WAN strategies. Configure and deploy SD-WAN appliances, routers, switches, and other networking equipment. Monitor SD-WAN performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations for optimal throughput and reliability. Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain SD-WAN security policies, including encryption, firewall rules, and intrusion detection/prevention. Conduct network assessments and recommend enhancements to improve SD-WAN performance, scalability, and security. Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and network operations teams. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to SD-WAN and network engineering. Skills for Success: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP-NV, or equivalent certifications preferred. At least 5 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on SD-WAN technologies. Hands-on experience with SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela, VMware, or similar solutions. Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, and VLANs. Strong understanding of WAN technologies, including MPLS, VPN, and Internet circuits. Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
