Mission Scrum Masters are key leadership positions with responsibility to:
Guide the squad focusing on creating high value releases;Partner with Product Owners to ensure strategy and execution alignment;Facilitate squad(s) rituals & key events;Drive continuous improvement by coaching Squads in Agile methodologies to maximize efficiency and self-improvement and drive change management;Master Agile processes and fine-tune them to Squad needs while providing tools and methodologies to accelerate Squad delivery.What will you do? Enable execution in alignment with the strategy and the backlog and, in particular:Work with Product Owners and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment;Guide the Squad to respect to priorities and scope as defined by the Product Owners;Help the squad focus on creating high value releases;Assist with decision-making by facilitating feature estimation by teams;Provide progress status and escalate impediments on a regular basis;Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks;Highlight and follow the adherence to guardrails.Ensure collaboration and, for example: Ensure the participation of the Product Owner and stakeholders to the events when needed;Ensure both Product Owner and Squad actively participate in decision making regarding commitment to scope and schedule;Assist in finding techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management.Coach the Squad: Coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality;Ensure Squads members understand and embrace Agile values;Ensure Squad's progress / performance metrics are in place and well understood;Create and sustain an environment of trust and openness;Support the squad on OLM (Offer Lifecycle Management).Help remove impediments: Understand impact of roadblocks, create a sense of urgency and implement effective risk response plans;Ensure the Squad gets necessary trust and support from Management to work effectively;Ensure the Squad is able to respond to required changes and new unplanned requests in an effective manner.Promote Agile values and continuous improvement.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful? Bachelor's degree.2 years of product or project development experience would be advantageous.Strong facilitation techniques.Ability to build and lead in a matrix.Knowledge of Agile values and principles.Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.Knowledge of an Agile Framework (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), and knowledge of Agile at Scale frameworks (i.e. SAFe, Scrum at Scale, Nexus).Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery Squads.Location: Italy - Conselve (PD)
