Discover more about our company wide benefits and life at GSK on our webpage Life at GSK | GSK The Scientist is expected to design and execute scientific studies in support of technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase I/ II, Phase III, technology transfer and process performance qualification at the intended commercial site.
In this role, YOU will.. Be responsible for the conception, design, implementation, and interpretation of scientific and technical data to support own area projects, following the quality by design framework.
Collaborate with related platform staff to design, implement, and interpret the data from development workstreams, making sound scientific/technical based on a balance of data, analysis and experience.
Function effectively as a core team member on several projects and leads small projects and established work processes, provide guidance to new team members and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Generate strong relationships in the area of technical development with high quality partners beneficial to the organization, both internally and externally, to strengthen development/implementation of new methods/technologies.
Communicate effectively within TRD and with external stakeholders.
Author and review technical protocols and reports in support of various project development stages, utilizing analytical knowledge to meet regulatory requirements.
Encourage adaptation and proactive promote the GxP / EHS / QA rules application.
Why You?Basic Qualifications: Master's degree in chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific field
Technical expertise on analytical tools and technologies (HPLC, UPLC, UV, Mass Spectrometry, Liquid Chromatography)
Knowledge of Capillary Electrophoresis
Expertise on method development and validation requirements
Must have the ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific field.
Previous experience on antigen design and/or process development is a plus
Experience in technology transfer is a plus.
