With the aim of strengthening the Corporate Medical Affairs team we are recruiting a
**Scientific Service Manager**
You'll provide high quality responses to medical queries from patients and Health Care Professionals (HCPs) across Fidia's product portfolio and be responsible for planning, conducting and analyzing scientific literature searches,
**Main responsibilities**:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of processes and regulations related to medical information.
- Awareness of the legal and ethical issues affecting the provision of Medical Information in the various markets served.
- Manage Medical Information distributors and oversee the development of FAQs and escalated enquiries.
- Liaise with and provide content and process support to Medical Information staff at affiliates and business partners.
- Support the CMA Specialist/Manager/Senior Manager in managing any medical issues with internal stakeholders, partners and/or competent authorities.
- Ensure that the Affiliate's Medical Departments are trained on and compliant with Corporate Medical Information procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of medical information processes in line with customer expectations and business needs.
- Support the timely management of contracts with various vendors, including diligent budget tracking.
- Archive and maintain literature resources in a single, centralized, scalable shared library.
- Generate scientific bulletins/reviews focused on specific products/therapeutic areas of interest in collaboration with Corporate Medical Affairs Specialist/Manager/Senior Manager to support marketing and sales with the most up-to-date scientific information.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Medicine, science, pharmacy, pharmacology or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the role or at least 10 years in R&D Department.
- Compliance with regulations 219/06 and 231 for Italy and corresponding European directives.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate medical scientific literature.
- Good knowledge of the Office Suite.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Italian. Knowledge of another European language will be considered a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility, critical thinking and accuracy.
