YOUR TEAM As a selected candidate, you will work in close collaboration with the Flagship coordinator Dr. Athanassia Athanassiou, PI of the Smart Materials Research Line in Genoa and Scientist of various IIT groups which participate in the Flagship. Part of the activities will be managing relations with all the Technologies for Sustainability flagship partners and supporting the Coordinators in charge of the program and the Principal Investigators involved in.
You will work closely with the scientists to help them carry out their scientific activity, interact with stakeholders, acquire funds, and manage external communications and dissemination.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Supporting the Coordinators in handling of the consortium, controlling the overall working plan and monitoring its proper implementation in terms of deliverables, milestones and implementation of Work Packages objectives.Supporting the Coordinators and the Principal Investigators in monitoring the scientific tasks of the projects.Monitoring the scientific, technical and financial advancement and, if necessary, supporting the Principal Investigators for proposing modification and new solutions to make the project more effective.Collecting, reviewing and submitting technical and financial reports.Supervising and managing communication and dissemination activities, exploitation plan and activities foreseen. Web Page Curator: timely updates for the Flagship's web page, ensuring that information is accurate, current, and effectively presented.Supporting the redaction of data management planning, supervising and managing the activities foreseen.Supporting the search for funding agencies to further develop the flagship program, by coordinating with the proposing PIs and IIT offices (i.e. Project Office), thus optimizing request workflow and funds acquisition.Preparing meetings (proposing decisions and preparing the agenda, preparing the minutes of the meetings) and monitoring the implementation of decisions taken at meetings.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS PhD in a scientific discipline.Experience in the field of reporting and data analysis.Experience in the field of communication, particularly in dissemination activities.Good communication skills.Good competence in problem solving.Good competence in information search.Familiarity with the main IT software packages, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.Cooperative approach with stakeholders.Accuracy and good analytical skills.Good command of spoken and written English.ADDITIONAL SKILLS Experience in the field of economic-financial planning for projects.High motivation to learn.Spirit of innovation and creativity.Good at time and priority management.Ability to work in a challenging and international environment.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment.COMPENSATION PACKAGE Competitive salary package for international standards.2 days of teleworking per week.Flexible working time.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
