Scientific Officer - Feed Additives

We are looking for a Scientific Officer in the area of Feed Additives.

Responsabilit Supporting the other scientific officers in the risk assessment process of feed additives, Being responsible for the preparation of draft opinions, Collecting and collating data from scientific databases, Undertaking literature searches and reviews on selected scientific topics, Providing official answers to comments received from EU national competent authorities, Contributing to timely and effective planning to meet priorities and deadlines within the work programme of the Unit.
Functie-eisen Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level), At least 1 year of relevant working experience in collecting and collating evidence, writing and reviewing scientific documents, analyzing and interpreting data with statistics, Knowledge of one of the following fields of studies: veterinary medicine, feed additives, microbiology, biology, Working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy.
Assignment: initial contract of 2 or 3 months, with possibility of extensions.
Expected duration of assignment 5 months.
Salary: approx €3500 per month before taxes.
Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week.
Remote work is possible within 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.
