For our site in Verona, Italy, we are looking for a highly motivated Scientific Officer, Analytical Proposals Owner who will be a part of the Project Leader and Stability team within Analytical Development and Control department.

- The role of the Analytical Proposals Owner is a key role in the AD & QC department for supporting the business development by contributing to the successful delivery of analytical proposals as standalone contracts or as part of integrated development projects, in accordance with customer expectations

- Review Request for Proposal (RFP) received by Clients to ensure adequate information has been provided to be able to define analytical project strategy and project costing.
Liaise with operational and sales teams as appropriate.
- Provide clear directions and indications on the analytical strategy to be included in the proposals directly contributing to the technical writing of the contracts.
- Estimate project costs according to the analytical activities defined in the contracts.
- Support the assessment and costing of the extra scope or additional work to be done for progressing the projects (change orders).
- Participate and contribute to the strategic meeting with client for the technical part of competence, making clear Evotec offer, in house expertise and capabilities.
- Actively interact with other disciplines with the aim to solve any issue and always find the right solution to ensure the right strategy is defined in the contract and meet proposal timelines
- Work in conjunction with other disciplines and business unit to make the scientific service fit for our customer needs
- If required, support the analytical project leaders by participating to projects meetings and directly communicating with clients, to discuss/explain the elaborated analytical strategy and/or reply to any further question.
- Contribute to continuous improvements within the proposals process
- Required Experience_
- At least 5 years of experience working in the Regulated Analytical Development area especially with new chemical entities, small molecules.
- Specific Expertise in analytical development in support of API and DP, oral grade, development, from early to late phases
- Good knowledge of ICH stability studies
- Experience in working in a matrix environment and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluent English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
