Make your mark for patients We are looking for a Scientific Medical Clearance Manager who is organized, collaborative, with strong communication skills to join us in our Medical Affairs team, for a maternity leave replacement (1 year), based in our affiliate in Milan, Italy. About the role As a Scientific Medical Clearance Manager, you are responsible for the planning and delivery of science-based product Medical Communication activities based on local/regional strategies and priorities. You will also contribute to the scientific review of promotional, communicational, and scientific training tools for multiple products.

Who you'll work with Reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs Italy, you will be part of the clearance team (2 persons) which is embedded in a larger team of 9 colleagues working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment. You will partner closely with local and Global teams for the continuous optimization of the approval process of all promotional, communicational, and scientific training materials. Other important stakeholders for this position include teams from Learning & Development, Medical, Marketing, and Market Access.

What you'll do Contribute to Medical Communication best practice development, common standards, metrics, and systems. Collect and provide metrics on the quality and quantity of delivered MedCom programs. Collaborate in the creation and update of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and processes related to Medical & Business Information activities. As LCC (Local Clearance Committee), review promotional, communicational, and scientific training materials for internal and external use, in compliance with regulations, SOPs, and Code of Conduct. Co-responsible with other members of the team for UCB employees training regarding Farmindustria/AIFA and Med. Com. topics and tools. Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience, and skills Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, with 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Demonstrated experience in managing Medical Communication activities, with expertise in the analysis and communication of medical-scientific data. Broad knowledge of compliance rules and requirements in the pharmaceutical industry. Understanding of pharmaceutical product development, product lifecycle, and commercialization process.
