The **Laimburg Research Centre** is the leading research institute for agriculture and food quality in South Tyrol (Italy). We operate mainly in applied research with the aim of increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of South Tyrolean agriculture and of ensuring the quality of agricultural products.
For the research project SUSTAIN "System for the Sustainable Use of Grape Pomace for a Circular Economy and Innovative Products", funded by CARITRO Foundation, the Laboratory of NMR Spectroscopy of the Laimburg Research Centre is looking for:

Mandatory requirement:
- completed university studies of at least four years attested by a diploma in biology, biotechnology, natural sciences or similar
- knowledge of Italian or English or German (will be evaluated during the interview)
Desired additional competences constituting evaluation criteria:
- experience in polyphenol extraction, purification and characterization using mass spectrometry
- scholarships and research grants (please specify in your CV) in fields related to the position's research topics
- participation in national and international research groups (please specify in your CV if this involved a stay abroad)
- publication list with focus on wine, food chemistry and analytical chemistry
- basic knowledge of NMR-spectroscopy applied to small molecules
- good knowledge in English/German/Italian - will be evaluated during the interview
- availability to start preferably by November 1st, 2024
- good organizational and communication skills
- high motivation, ability to work independently, and strong team-working skills.

They are full-time positions at Laimburg Research Centre. The regular place of work will be the NOI Techpark in Bolzano/Bozen. Classification is based on the category " employee" according to the Agricultural collective agreement.
