To strengthen our **Medical Affair team,** based in our affiliate in **Milan, Italy**, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of**:Scientific Clearance Lead.
**
As a **Scientific Clearance Lead**, you will contribute by:
- Being responsible of the planning and delivery of science-based product Medical Communication activities based on local / regional strategies and priorities
- Coordinating approval and scientific review of promotional, communicational and scientific training tools for multiple products
- Contributing to Medical Communication best practice development, common standards, metrics and systems
- Collecting and providing metrics on the quality and quantity of delivered MedCom programs
- Being our Country Clearance Lead and HQ nominated country signatory
- Ensuring the creation and updating of SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures) and processes related to Medical & Business Information activities
- As LCC (Local Clearance Committee), reviewing of promotional, communicational and scientific training materials, for internal and external use, in compliance with regulation, SOPs and Code of Conduct
- Partnering in close cooperation with local and Global teams for the continuous optimization of the approval process of all promotional, communicational and scientific training materials
- Being responsible of UCB employees training regarding Farmindustria/AIFA and Med.

**Interested?
For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences
- A previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated experience in managing Medical Communication activities
- Expertise in the analysis and the communication of medical-scientific data
- Broad knowledge of compliance rules and requirements in pharmaceutical industry
- Understanding of pharmaceutical product development, product lifecycle and commercialization process
- Project management skills
- Fluent in both English and Italian
