Regional Support is responsible for overviewing, implementing and implementing SCADA systems. The department collaborates with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED. It provides high global technology in monitoring, control and data acquisition systems for the wind technology which covers and provides any SCADA related support to the Construction and Service Departments.
Responsibilities: Level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in wind farmsPlatform troubleshooting, server hardware and softwareProvide remote support to service technicians in on-site operationsProvide and keep updated internal ticketing toolsTechnical DocumentationQualifications: Technical education in IT, Electronics or similarExperience in server operating systems, Linux and SQL serversExperience in VMwareKnowledge and experience of networking and their configurationPLC programming and communication protocols (IEC, 104, IEC 101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC) is beneficialValid driver's licenseHighly structured and well-organizedProactive and result-orientedComfortable with working in a high-paced and highly collaborative environmentProven analytical and problem-solving skillsTeam working orientedHigh attention to detail and a solid commitment to QualityHigh level of English spoken and writtenWhat we offer: You will join a wide well-experienced team directly in contact with the key technology in Wind Power Control and data analysis systems, with a detailed training program.
