Regional Support is responsible for overseeing, implementing, and managing SCADA systems. The department collaborates with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED.
It provides high global technology in monitoring, control, and data acquisition systems for wind technology, covering and providing any SCADA-related support to the Construction and Service Departments.
Responsibilities: Level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in wind farms.Platform troubleshooting, server hardware and software.Provide remote support to service technicians in on-site operations.Provide and keep updated internal ticketing tools.Technical Documentation.Qualifications: Technical education in IT, Electronics, or similar.Experience in server operating systems, Linux, and SQL servers.Experience in VMware.Knowledge and experience of networking and their configuration.PLC programming and communication protocols (IEC, MODBUS, DNP, OPC) is beneficial.Comprehensive English skills, both verbal and written.Valid driver's license.Competencies: Highly structured and well-organized.Proactive and result-oriented.Comfortable working in a high-paced and highly collaborative environment.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.Teamwork-oriented.Good communication skills.High attention to detail and a solid commitment to quality.High level of spoken and written English.Native Italian speaker.What we offer:
