In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced and skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our business.
You will work closely with clients to identify business requirements, design solutions, and implement them on the Salesforce platform.
You will be required to have a background in Java programming and experience with Salesforce platforms Sales, Service, Voice and Integration.
Your work will power IBM and its clients globally, bringing innovation into enterprise systems.

Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseAt least 2 years of experience in software development, also non-Salesforce (Java, Angular JS, React)Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM platformsKnowledge of Java SE and Java EE development languagesUnderstanding and design of Microservices ArchitecturesKnowledge of relational databases and MYSQLKnowledge of some recent back-end (Spring, Springboot, JPA) or front-end frameworks (Angular (2+), React, Vue.js)Understanding of Synchronous and Asynchronous integration patternsStrong competencies about relational and/or no-SQL databasesKnowledge of GitHub, Jira, CopadoIntermediate knowledge of English languageGood interpersonal and communication skillsPreferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseExperience CloudCertifications in Java programmingExperience working in an Agile software development environmentAvailability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.About Business UnitIBM Consulting is IBM's consulting and global professional services business, with market leading capabilities in business and technology transformation.
