The purpose of this role is to deliver financial and non-financial targets by managing business and technical relationships with customers / accounts (current customers and new prospects) for the CV business in Italy. Key Accountabilities Accurately project sales and projects forecasting, reporting and pipeline documentation Ensure customer retention & acquisition Maintain direct contact with customers in the field, representing AkzoNobel in a professional manner to deliver customer satisfaction Manage customer portfolio and pipeline Create partnerships with customers to proactively grow the category, share of wallet Drive efficient credit management Take ownership of queries and complaints to ensure resolution on behalf of the customer within agreed deadlines Delivery revenue and margin according to budget (including accounts receivable and DSO) Investigate sales opportunities in the CV and CT market Deliver the agreed financial and non-financial targets in line with business budgets Drive innovation through customers Drive Continuous Improvement across the organization to generate value to customers – Forecast, Service, capability, efficiency and productivity Key Activities Roll-out sales programs (including sales process-related knowledge and tools) and implement corporate projects such as CRM and IBP Provide demand forecast for regional segment sales plans in line with the business IBP processes. Effectively engage, develop and lead own sales management team if existing Use reporting tools as CRM, up-dates the key customers' databases with valid, accurate and complete information (visits reports, action reports, cases, regulatory requests…) Manage complex customer complaints. Actively participate in key phases of the sales process to prospects. Proactively prevent and solve problems of a technical nature occurring at existing customers. Attend the testing process as well as the implementation of new products and technologies. Develop and maintains relationships with customer technical staff, in order to keep and to extend the business. Assure technical training and technical service Requirements Knowledge & Work Experience – Paints and coatings industry, any B2B industry environment. 5-8 years of work experience in technical and/or commercial roles. Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate with all stakeholders in multi million (>500 Millions €) international companies Minimum Degree in business management or industrial paint related field. Skills – Problem solving, stakeholder management, project management, decision making, creating value propositions, drive, results orientation, communication and presentation, commercial and business acumen, basic understanding of cross functional processes and financial concepts related to sales and cost to serve Fluent in English (verbal and written) Good knowledge of major software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)#J-18808-Ljbffr
