The Data Appeal Company is looking for a high-performing Sales Specialist with experience in the B2B Travel & Tourism Industry to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in selling software products or services to destinations, DMOs, DMCs, or any other form of Tourism Board or Destination Management Organisation.
We expect you to use your prospecting, sales, and negotiation skills to effectively sell our offerings to leading organizations, empowering and supporting destination analysis, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities: The Sales Specialist will work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to promote and sell our products and solutions to potential customers while attaining sales targets.
The main responsibilities include: Selling products by establishing contacts and developing relationships with prospects Empowering and educating prospects to invest in a data-driven approach for destination analysis Manage qualified leads through CRM (HubSpot); Develop long-term business relationships; Take part in fairs and events; Collect market feedback; Stay up-to-date with current Travel, Tourism, Tech industries trends to develop sales strategies; Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information; Actively participate and provide updates in weekly meetings, as scheduled; Requirements: BS/MS degree in Business Administration or a related field; At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales within the travel and tourism industry; Strong understanding of digital products and B2B SaaS sales models Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs Fluency both in Italian and English, additional language fluency (Portuguese, French, Spanish, German) is a strong plus Tech-savvy with interests in Tourism, Technology, Data, and Artificial Intelligence Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving the sales process from plan to close #J-18808-Ljbffr
