**Overview**:
As a **Sales Representative** for Modern Mass Market Channel, reporting directly to our In-Store Manager, you will be in charge of developing product visibility and ensuring future business through constant and complete prospecting within the sales area (Lombardia).
**Your main responsibilities**:
- Visit a clearly defined number of stores within your area in order to develop the market share of BIC products, for the 3 categories: Stationery, Lighters, Shavers.
- Focus on establishing working relationships with existing customers and develop the distribution of BIC products in line with the BIC sales policy;
- Ensure future business through constant and complete prospecting within the sales area;
- Optimize our product visibility on the shelves and improve the general presentation of the BIC brand in order to increase sales;
- Increase BIC share of space and visibility during promotional events
- Process orders through Siebel for permanent ranges and promotional offers;
- Manage shelf presentation (clean and well-presented BIC products);
- Introduce new products and negotiate features in customer catalogues & promotional flyers wherever possible and in the case such agreements are not centralized;
- Promote and take orders directly on the permanent assortments and special promotions/seasonal campaigns (BTS);
- Monitor retail prices and price labeling in the stores;
- Manage the COOP budget per customer and ensure maximum optimization of the budget (in that case that this is not done by the Key Account or Regional Account);
- As product specialist, advise local buyers and store/shelf managers about our assortments, market figures and trends, competitors, etc. and provide them with professional support on their category development;
- Communicate constantly with other departments such as Marketing & Customer Service: be alert to changes in the local market and signals coming from end users, customers and buyers and competitor activities;
- Work directly from home following a personal routing plan in line with the cycle planner as agreed with the line manager and based on the "BIC Italy Field Sales Model" (= minimum number of visits per day, mention individual agreed targets; weekly planning system and daily reporting method through Siebel);
- Ensure full time presence on the field (except for meeting, administrative, training days).
**Qualifications**:
- Master's Degree
- Good level of English
- PC skills (outlook, excel, word)
- Driving License
- Team player and result driven
- Previous experience in sales roles, ideally in FMCG companies, will be considered a plus
