Sales Project Manager (M/F/D)*We are looking for an experienced and responsible sales personality for our Italian branch based in Spilamberto (MO). As an experienced and responsible sales personality, you will advise our customers in finding their perfect solution, developing tailor-made material handling concepts, with the goal to build the best winning chance in each assigned sales project.
ResponsibilitiesManage material handling projects in the sales phase.Understand the requests of our customers and cooperate with the Solution Design Team in defining an efficient system design and solution.Establish binding and trustworthy relationships with consultants and customer decision makers on all levels.Create and implement a project sales strategy.Carry out customer and competitor analyses at regular intervals.Lead the project team for the different sales opportunities until project handover to the Realization department.Work closely with other in-house expert departments (Business Development, Solution Design, Realization, Lifetime Services).Manage the bid process and the correct internal sales gates (Bid / No Bid, Concept Review, Design Review, Offer Review, Handover).Keep CRM up to date for assigned sales opportunities.In collaboration with the Head of Sales and Head of Solution Design, be part of the team that leads the contractual negotiation process with customers in compliance with internal rules and guidelines.Support the Business Development Manager with marketing events and initiatives.What you'll needTechnical High School degree (example: Mechanical, Mechatronical), preferably Technical University degree (example: Engineer).At least 5 years of technical sales experience in industrial automation, preferably in intralogistics and material handling industry.Technical understanding of material handling operations and processes.Knowledge of strategic and structured sales of integrated systems.Excellent social and communication skills in Italian and English.Distinct success and result orientation and high analytical competency.Strong teamwork skills and ability to work with all levels of the company.Proactive, independent and flexible person, able to work under stress conditions.Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate and interact effectively with different customer levels, including executive, in formal and informal meetings.Strong leadership and ability to influence senior management within customer.Ability to travel frequently in Italy.What you'll receiveA company that is part of a worldwide leading group with around 4,500 employees in Europe, Asia, and North America.An appreciative working environment as part of a motivated team and an open feedback culture.Flexible working hours and a generous smart working model for maximum flexibility.Responsibility in a successful international company with a strong focus on culture and values.Wide range of opportunities for professional and personal development through in-person training and eLearning sessions within TGW Academy program.Remuneration commensurate with experience and skills in a young, dynamic, and growing environment.WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR APPLICATION*TGW is an employer that promotes equal opportunities.
