Responsibilities & Major Duties Strategic S&OP Leadership: Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process to align production, inventory, and sales objectives.
Act as the central point for monthly planning cycles, ensuring cross-functional alignment with sales, procurement, and logistics teamsManage and develop the planning team, ensuring clear responsibilities, effective communication, and the achievement of departmental KPIs.Production Planning & Integration: Collaborate with fillers to coordinate schedules and develop robust production plans aligned with sales demandEnsure efficient integration of bulk and component deliveries with production schedules while adapting plans to handle fluctuations or unforeseen changesSupplier & Inventory Coordination: Partner with procurement teams and suppliers to guarantee on-time raw material and packaging deliveriesMonitor inventory levels, address quality issues, and mitigate shortages through proactive planning and supplier communicationQuality & Efficiency Management: Work closely with quality control to uphold high production standardsAnalyze production capacity and implement measures to reduce waste and improve filler efficiencyRisk Mitigation & Contingency Planning: Identify and prioritize risks, especially for high-demand products, and establish contingency measures such as safety stock or backup suppliersDevelop and implement strategies to mitigate potential challenges, including holiday production adjustments and supply chain disruptionsPerformance Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee and refine reporting processes for production efficiency, inventory metrics, and S&OP performanceProvide insights and updates to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions
