If you love it, Scalapay it Sales Strategy and Operations Manager A Sales Strategy and Operations Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for understanding the BNPL business environment, interpreting market trends and competitive landscape, engaging directly with customers to understand their needs, supporting the development of the business strategy and partnering primarily with Sales, Product and Marketing teams.
The candidate will act as the bridge between the market and the Sales team, supporting Sales with business cases.
The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, with a strong strategic consulting background, along with deep business acumen.
The candidate should have experience in the B2B2C sector and be able to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies that drive business growth.
Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for defining go-to-market strategies for new products and supporting the Sales team in developing territory plans, sales forecasts, and pricing strategies.
The candidate will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Sales Strategy and Operations Manager responsibilities include: Deliver data and market insights to cross-functional teams, in particular product and marketing, to drive business decisions, and identify sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and consumer trends Suggest improvements to existing business strategies to drive growth , assess the competitive context and build a market share watchlist of main comps in Italy, France and Spain Define problems and strategic solutions - scoping, analyzing, preparing, and presenting strategy checks Elaborate/Maintain product price list aligned with the company's strategy, developing an in-depth understanding of our business and external market forces Elaborate Sales variable incentive schemes and develop and implement sales processes for sales teams, specialists and other representatives Support the preparation of strategic business cases and presentation materials Build and nurture strong advisory relationships with key external and internal stakeholders including influencing executives Manage the overall sales tech stack, including Hubspot, to increase sales process efficiency, and to maximize opportunities and customer relationships, taking ownership of the whole sales funnel Requirements and skills 4+ years' tenure in a recognised strategy consulting business BSc/MSc in Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (if you have an MBA it would be considered a strong plus) Proven experience in applying strategic frameworks, sales operations, business analysis , and/or sales support management Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional and international collaboration Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies Strong performance across a broad range of strategic engagements Why you should join Scalapay: Attractive packages based on skills and experience International environment with significant challenges to be met every day Lots of opportunities to work with a team of industry tech leaders who are focused on delivering products that offer exceptional user experiences Personalized support to accelerate your professional growth and take ownership of the products you deliver: we want to help you grow!
