We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead the growth of our energy storage solutions in North America. This remote role requires approximately 40% travel to engage with clients and accelerate business development. The ideal candidate will bring a proven sales background, ideally within the energy storage or photovoltaic (solar) sector, and will be responsible for managing project sales, setting ambitious targets, and executing market expansion strategies.
Location : Italy (remote)
Key Responsibilities : Manage project sales independently and lead the sales process for energy storage projects.Establish sales targets, recommend market expansion strategies, and drive their successful execution.Develop and maintain detailed customer profiles, conduct sales forecasts, and gather actionable market intelligence.Promote energy storage solutions to potential clients, ensuring alignment with their needs.Continuously assess the North American energy storage market, staying current with industry trends and market conditions.Coordinate internal training initiatives and support technical exchanges with external partners.Oversee the complete sales cycle, from business negotiations and contract finalization to ensuring timely payment collection.Requirements : Proven sales experience in the energy storage industry, with familiarity in working with top-tier energy storage integrators, developers, investors, and electric utilities (preferred).Alternatively, extensive sales experience within the photovoltaic (solar) industry, as some clients may also require energy storage solutions.Demonstrated ability to acquire and develop large clients from the ground up.Expertise in creating customer organizational maps and understanding decision-making processes within client companies.Strong project management, business negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to drive contract signings and secure timely payments.Collaborative team player with the ability to gain market insights and drive cross-departmental initiatives.In-depth knowledge of the North American energy markets, industry trends, and competitive landscape.Proven track record of scaling sales from inception to success.Willingness to travel up to 40% for client engagements.Benefits : Competitive Salary : 16 months' salary per year.Work Flexibility : Remote position with travel to client sites.Innovative Industry : Be part of the cutting-edge energy storage sector and contribute to a sustainable future.Growth Opportunities : Opportunities for career advancement in a forward-thinking company committed to delivering competitive, scenario-based energy storage solutions.If you're a passionate sales leader eager to drive innovation and achieve success in a rapidly evolving industry, we encourage you to apply.
