Rashmi Metaliks is expanding our sales team across Europe for a market leader in Ductile Iron Pipes and is seeking a motivated Sales Manager to join us.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and expanding our client base in the infrastructure, water supply, and industrial sectors. This role demands a deep understanding of the pipe industry, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities Ensure timely resolution of all customer complaints within a seven-day timeframe. Establish an online complaint-tracking system to enhance efficiency. Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers, offering expert technical support and solutions. Deliver product demonstrations and training sessions, highlighting the benefits and applications of ductile iron pipes and fittings. Identify and develop new business opportunities preparing technical presentations and proposals to potential customers. Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Collaborate with the product development and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence product improvements. Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products. Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and events to network and stay updated on market trends. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and technical issues in the CRM system. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for the sales manager. The Individual Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related fields preferred). Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the ductile iron pipes and fittings industry or a related field. Strong technical knowledge of ductile iron pipes or GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) pipes, HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) pipes, OPVC (Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride) pipes is an advantage. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events. Job Type: Full-time
