Overview of the role: Newcleo's core business focuses on the design and build of Lead-cooled Fast Reactors and MOX manufacturing. Beyond our reactors and MOX manufacturing offer, we develop skills and services for our own projects and the wider industry via the newcleo Group of companies. This includes the renovation of existing nuclear facilities, working on third party new build projects, and being actively involved in waste management and decommissioning projects.
For this third party sales activities, we are recruiting a Sales Manager.
Responsibilities: Bid Team Leader tasks encompass: Do a first analysis of bidding opportunities and issue a short written summary to substantiate a Go/NoGo internal discussion. Coordination of the bid team and internal stakeholders (Technical contributors, PMO contribution, Quality Assurance, Procurement and Legal). Take responsibility for the aggregation of the costs to build up a price incorporating all the internal and external inputs. Coordination of the partners' contribution in case of bid led by newcleo (MOU, intermediate meetings, respect of schedule for the offer submission). Participation in the selection of subcontractors. Business Development activities consist of: Contribute to the sales strategy by proposing new prospects or identifying emerging markets and opportunities for expansion. Document customer interactions. Actively nurture relationships with potential Partners, Clients, and key subcontractors, for example by meeting regularly with Partners and Clients to discuss their needs. Participate in public events/conferences to promote the skills and services newcleo has to offer. This position reports to the Executive Sales Director. Location: 10% to 20% travel required mostly in Europe. Possibility to work in any of the French/Italian offices for 3 days a week and up to 2 days remotely. Is this role right for you? Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical or electrical. Minimum of 7 years of EPC sales experience required preferably in the nuclear industry, if not in a structured industrial sector (e.g. aeronautics, defence, etc.). A sales experience with some key European nuclear stakeholders (Clients and Partners). Preferably an experience as project manager or in a technical role. Excellent writing and presentation skills in English. Italian speaking is an advantage, to interact with our factory colleagues located mostly in Italy. Specific skills for the position: Teamwork: Capacity to work in a matrix organisation and manage potential conflicts of priorities in a soft manner. Presentation skills: Capacity to articulate and deliver the strong points of the Company's offer (for the group), both in written and verbal form. Problem-solving attitude.
