About the Role & Team We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead sales and account management across Grocery, Value and eCommerce selected KAs. This is a pivotal role that will support the company's growth by handling strategic partnerships with major retailers and eCommerce platforms while driving innovation in omnichannel sales.
This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week in our Milan office, and 1 day work from home.
What You Will Do Account Management: build and handle relationships with grocery KAs and value retailers to improve performance at both sell-in and sell-out levels.Account Management: develop and negotiate retail activations and promotional calendars with grocery and value retailers.E-commerce: implement regional strategy and lead sales initiative for the e-commerce platform ensuring product visibility, availability, and sales performance.E-commerce: supervise core metrics (e.g. conversion rates) and adjust strategy accordingly.Establish a positive relationship with licensees to ensure that retail objectives, strategies, and operations are aligned over time.Partner with licensees and internal Disney stakeholders to ensure outstanding execution at retail.Provide postmortem analysis and qualitative presentations to internal partners for all key activations and promotions.Stay up to date on all retail landscape new trends and performances both at local and EMEA level.Collaborate with internal teams to improve the online presence of products in the e-commerce website of our retailers aligning with overall brand strategy.Track sales performance and key critical metrics for each channel, providing regular updates to stakeholders.Leverage data insights to identify trends and propose actionable improvements.Sales and trade marketing plans negotiation and execution across distribution channels.Implement in-store & category management (shelf/promo area/shop in shop and other relevant Disney Brand signing at retail) partnering with the Shopper Marketing Team.Support local Shopper Marketing Team in the management and execution of the trade marketing plans (POP materials, in-store mechanics, trade events).Operationally lead Amazon brand stores implementation throughout the year and pop-up branded stores during key Franchise and Seasonal activations.Work closely with both internal and external partners:
-internally with Category Managers, Shopper Marketing, PR manager, Sales Managers, as well as with stakeholders in all Marketing departments.
-externally liaise with Retailers, Licensees, and Promotional Partners.
-attend EMEA E-commerce calls to be aligned with Regional led critical initiatives and update Regional team on local progress.Co-manage overall planning and budgeting of in-store activations priorities.Co-manage Trade Marketing budgets for local activations as well as media plans drive to store in partnership with local Shopper Marketing Team.Required Qualifications & Skills At least 7 years successful track record in Sales, Account Management, and Trade Marketing.Business education by preference, on an academic level.Project management experience.Fluent Italian and English.Strong presentation skills – Public speaking and PowerPoint/Keynote expert.Strong negotiation skills.A strong communicator.Strong interpersonal skills.Creative and innovative skills.Knowledge of retail landscape or at least familiar with retail dynamics, promotional mechanics, etc.The Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
