ResponsibilitiesSGSS has been present in Italy since September 2006 through a dedicated Italian Bank, SGSS S.p.A ., one of the main players in the Securities Services' industry that covers all SGSS businesses for its two segments of clients: Financial Institutions & Brokers and Asset Managers & Insurance.
Thanks to over 500 employees based in Milan and Turin, SGSS S.p.A. ensures a daily support to over 300 clients.
Our clients are institutional investors (insurance companies and pension funds), asset managers, financial intermediaries (brokers, investments companies).
Mission: This is a full-time internship lasting 6 months with the desired start date as soon as possible.
It will allow you to develop the following knowledge and skills: Knowledge of the Securities Services Providers business and that of its institutional clients (Banks, Asset Managers, Asset Owners) Apply research techniques (data/information/news) Apply Survey questionnaire construction techniques Apply activity planning techniques Apply content construction techniques in the field of external communication Use of sales database management software Tasks and responsibilities: Monitor the commercial activity thus contributing to its better steering by: producing and analyzing key indicators (client meetings, NBI, pipeline), to be afterward circulated to the commercial teams, the Coverage Department management, and SGSS executive management guaranteeing, via regular surveillance and action, data input quality by the sales teams in the Customer Relationship Management tool taking an active part in the annual Sales Plan exercise and its mid-year follow-up Accompany business development: jointly with the sales teams, prepare commercial presentations for strategic client meetings (promote within that context usage of innovative methods) aggregate prospect universe and systematize prospect identification within these universes preparation and updating of Prospect profile sheets in order to support the activities of the Sales people support the coverage team in the preparation of commercial proposal support in steering answers to Request For Proposals Profile requiredStudies & experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing or economy Language skills: Italian – C2 English – B2 Technical, operational & Soft skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Result orientation Collective Mindset Cooperation Team Spirit Why join usIn a highly competitive and fragmented financial market, our ambition is to be the reference partner recognized for its service quality and competitiveness, its agile solutions and international network coverage.
