For a leading international company operating in the Pharma field, I'm looking for a Sales Excellence Manager who will play a critical role in enhancing the performance of the internal sales team by developing and managing sales strategies, incentive programs, and performance metrics.
This position requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes.
Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales objectives and strategies aligned with company goalsAnalyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvementIncentive Program Management:
Design, implement, and manage effective incentive programs to motivate and reward the sales teamMonitor program effectiveness and make adjustments based on performance metrics and feedbackPerformance Metrics and Analytics:
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales effectiveness and team performanceConduct regular performance reviews, providing insights and recommendations to improve resultsProcess Improvement:
Identify and address inefficiencies in sales processes to enhance productivity and effectivenessCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve communication and support for the sales forceSales Tools and Resources:
Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies that support the sales team's effortsEnsure that sales representatives have access to up-to-date product information and marketing materialsStakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including marketing, medical affairs, and finance teamsAct as a liaison between the sales team and executive leadership to communicate progress and challengesQualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on sales performance and incentive managementProven track record in developing and implementing successful sales strategies and incentive programsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insightsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and motivating othersProficiency in Excel and CRM software and sales analytics toolsProficiency in English is a mustLocation: Milan/Bologna
