Position SummaryAs a Sales and Events Manager, you will be responsible for selling in a reactive way and managing groups and events program at Villa La Massa. In some circumstances, you will be involved in proactive sales actions too. Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIESBecome an Ambassador of Villa La Massa and Villa d'Este Group, with a deep understanding of its heritage, values and operations.Nurture the relationship with all potential clients and guests showing an authentic interest in preferences to ensure a personalized approach to suggestions and enquiries.Respond quickly and efficiently to in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone and email with tailor-made proposals and to follow up all enquiries with purpose and personalized touch.Promotion of our facilities to new and existing clients through a pro-active approach.Maintain and develop contact with trade and potential clients through attendance at local networking and promotional events.Maintain an organized events information and an efficient coordination with all team members to ensure the highest level of service.Conduct site inspections with clients and agents and plan and attend familiarization trips.Attend industry and company sales events when relevant.Support the Group Events team in the planning and coordination of all groups and events and client inspections and entertainment.Work closely with the proactive sales team to maximize leads conversion.Use the property CRM system to manage accounts, leads and sales activities following property guidance.Contribute to the strategy and planning of the events function.Proactively drive business by thinking creatively, developing and designing new strategies, ideas and relationships.Identify new business opportunities based on market and trends knowledge, clients' feedback and awareness of comp set activities.Ensure the highest level of confidentiality protecting guests privacy and information.Establish, maintain and nurture effective relationships with guests, colleagues and outside contractors.Display the highest level of professionalism and create a sense of experience.Job RequirementsMinimum 2 years' relevant experience in luxury hotels in a similar position.Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.High level of hospitality and professionalism.Strong written and spoken Italian and English.Legal right to work in Italy.Our Benefits for YouNew Leader Introductory Program.Learning and development opportunities.Employee engagement and recognition events and activities.Canteen service by Villa La Massa culinary team.Complimentary laundry for business cloth items.Employee rates in Villa d'Este Group Hotels, Gift Shop and F&B and Spa experiences.
