This is a unique opportunity to join us as a Sales Director (Original Equipment and Service/Light vehicle EMEA) for our Performance Solutions-Braking division.
In this key role, the Sales Director OE/S LV EMEA will have global responsibility for all OE/S activities in the region, leading a team of ~8 employees.
She/he will report directly to the Executive Director Sales & Marketing, Tenneco Performance Solutions Braking.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support all business activities to drive customer satisfaction
Defend, increase sustainably and profitably Tenneco's market share while enhancing the profitability of the existing business (~300m USD)
Define and implement the European business strategy for the OE/S markets
Realize options for further value creation across OE
Lead and develop the individual Sales/Account Managers located in the European countries
Plan and deliver the LV EMEA 5 year's revenue plan
Conduct benchmark analysis and monitor competitor's development
Communicate with the global management team
Support new customer acquisition, control/manage strategic price negotiations and customer's conditions
Communicate with customers on different levels
Cooperate with the other departments (i.e.
engineering, program management, quality, operations,)
Supervise/track internal/external strategic projects
Manage two key stake holders the car manufacturers and the tier 1 suppliers in a format wherein business is 50% nominated by the car manufacturers
Help lead a company-widetransformation to change the sales organization into a more business/profit orientated model versus a turnover orientated model
**Required Skills**:
Educational degree in engineering or business management
Extensive sales leadership experience in a complex, international OE organization with significant sales revenue responsibility (>100m USD)
Track record of driving performance/growth turnarounds in difficult economic settings
Experience in developing and successfully implementing new business models leading to profitable growth
Ability to manage and lead a partially remote matrixed regional team
Experience in driving cultural change
High potential with the ability to develop further within the sales organization
Languages:
English-fluent, German-highly preferred
Proficient Windows office tools
