For our client, a multinational company leader in its sector, we are searching for a:
**SALES DIRECTOR.
**
He/She will support and implement sales and marketing policies, ensuring clear identification of market opportunities and the analysis of evolving trends and needs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Management of the sales team.
- Pursuing and achievement of budget targets in the assigned markets; defining action plans.
- Defining and monitoring pricing policy and controlling discounts at all market levels.
- Monitoring of Accounts Receivable, implementing actions to manage and improve credits.
- Providing and monitoring Monthly Forecasting vs AOP targets.
- Maintaining close relations with key export distribution partners and wholesalers.
- Management of Key Accounts.
- Market analysis (competitors' positioning, trends, business opportunities, strengths and weaknesses by market / vertical / channel / product line) and data intelligence to be shared on a regular basis with the Management.
- Coordinating and collaborating with local sales branches, in order to maximize export opportunities in the respective territories.
- Implementing specific market development and promotional actions (e.g.
events, trainings).
- Developing team's skills and company culture, ensuring appropriate performance management, communication and team coaching.
**Skills & Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 8-10 years of Export markets experience, preferably with both indirect (distributors) and direct sales experience.
- Sales experience with technical products (capital equipment) that require technical assistance and training services managed both directly and indirectly (i.e.
by distributors).
- Preferred experience with digital product / services.
- Team organization and management, including performance management.
- Planning, forecasting and order management skills; market analysis and strategic thinking skills.
- Fluent in English and preferably in a 2nd language.
- Goal oriented; able to prioritize his/her tasks and meet deadlines.
- Charismatic person with excellent leadership skills.
- High level of commitment and assertiveness; ability to influence people.
- Flexible and dynamic person, able to work in a continuous changing environment in a multitasking role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a time-sensitive environment managing multiple deadlines.
- Excellent ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
