To unleash your creativity, push your limits, and embark on an adventure unlike any other?The Sales Director we are seeking will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and profitability by overseeing the entire sales function and ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively.
The Sales Director will be responsible for leading and increasing the company's sales team and strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
You will be a vital support to increase sales, brand awareness, and the general growth of our prestigious luxury estate.Main Duties Responsibilities:A Strategic Planning: develop and implement sales strategies and objectives that align with the company's overall business goals and market conditions, driving appropriate market segments with a laser focus on Italy, UK, and Europe;Sales Forecasting: analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer data to make accurate sales forecasts and set achievable targets;Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding market share, and ensuring that sales goals and quotas are met or exceeded.
Use data such as STR and other resources to understand competitors' strategies and identify ways to grow occupancy, REVPAR, and increase market share;Manage client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle;Continuously assess and improve the sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals;Foster and maintain strong relationships with key travel stakeholders and customers.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention;Strategically evaluate and make decisions based on data.
Identify changing market conditions and introduce appropriate changes in sales and marketing strategy to exceed customer expectations;Develop and manage the sales department budget, allocating resources efficiently to support sales activities and initiatives.
Assist with strategy, pricing, competitor analysis, and negotiation to assure the correct brand positioning;Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, ensuring all projects are executed with an emphasis on increasing sales, a detailed review of market analysis to determine client needs and deliver occupancy and desired rates;Monitor and report on sales performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies;Organize and deliver yearly site visits identifying key stakeholders that will support the positioning of Reschio as a market leader destination.
Review and negotiate contracts on a yearly basis;Produce monthly sales reports that include the reporting on appointments and calls made, activities accomplished, sales leads generated, and updates on any relevant market and customer trends;Identify potential risks and challenges in the sales process and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact;Ensure that the sales team adheres to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all sales activities;Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales reservations team to ensure a suitable understanding of our offers, products, and values we offer over our competitors.
Keep the team updated on industry trends, product/service updates, and sales techniques;Travel and attend trade shows and major events, studying a calendar of meetings (i.e., a bespoke dinner, sales calls across the area, etc.
);Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities, and use this information to adapt sales strategies accordingly;Review the tools in place that allow us to connect with customers and continue to develop this roadmap of communication by constantly reviewing what is available in the market (latest sales technology, CRM systems, and sales automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency);Ability to proactively coordinate and organize FAM trips in selected hotels in line with the business needs of the product.We require:At least 5 years as Sales Manager with a background in Luxury Hospitality or Luxury Real Estate;Proven sales track record with a strong knowledge of the luxury consortia business;Strong values of integrity and ethical conduct;Strong strategic thinking abilities and the capacity to align sales goals with the company's overall business objectives;Demonstrated leadership skills;Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;Fluent in English and Italian; knowledge of other languages is a plus;Problem-solving and analytical thinking for setting sales targets, forecasting, and optimizing sales processes;Results-oriented and able to drive the team to achieve them;Be a team player and have a pro-active approach;Tech-savvy: Microsoft suite, CRM systems, and sales automation.We offer:Bespoke learning development training (for example, 1:1 coaching, leadership skills, strengthening languages, IT skills, etc.
